Obituary of Stephanie Borowy

Stephanie Borowy, 79, of Beach Park, died on Thursday, October 11, 2007, at Sheridan Health Care Center, Zion. Stephanie was born January 5, 1928 in Rib Lake, WI, and was a long time member of Our Lady of Humility Church in Beach Park. She was an accomplished seamstress and many friends and neighbors in her area were appreciative of her expertise. Stephanie is survived by her husband of 60 years, Edward J. Borowy; two sons, Edward A. (Carol, nee Miller) Borowy of Dallas, TX, and John J. (Maureen) Borowy of Minneapolis, MN; grandchildren, Christine, James, Seri, Matt and Adam; and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Annie, Luke, and Ethan; brothers, Louis (Dolores) Kosek of Wasau, WI, and Joe (Lorraine) Kosek of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, and sister, Rose (Steve) Wyrostek of Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. . A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 14 2007, at 4:00 p.m.. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion. Friends may greet the family on Sunday from 2:00 pm. until the time of services at the funeral home.
