Obituary of Margaret Mezynski

Margaret "Peggy" Mezynski, 79, of Zion, formerly of Wildwood, died on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at Rolling Hills Manor Nursing Home in Zion. She was born July 1, 1928 in Long Branch, New Jersey. Peggy retired in 1985 from Chicago Rubber Company in Waukegan. The family wishes to thank the staff, and especially Phyllis Evans, her caring Nurse, of Rolling Hills for the wonderful care they provided to Peggy over the years. Survivors include her daughter Susan (Cliff) Johnson of Holland, Michigan; granddaughter Tracy Plummer also of Holland; great-grandchildren D.J., Zachary and Madison Plummer; siblings Veronica (the late Lee) Mosley of Waukegan, Joan (the late Robert) Miller of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida and Charles Voelker of Panama; one niece Patricia Barker of Waukegan; and three nephews Howard (Penny) Mosley of Waukegan, James Mosley of Chicago and Joseph Mosley of Waukegan. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Mezynski; one brother John Voelker; and her parents John and Mary Voelker. Services will be private for the family with Interment to follow at Wood National Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
