Obituary of Philip Christensen

Philip James Christensen, 60, of Grayslake, IL, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013, at the GlenLake Terrace Nursing Home, Waukegan, IL. Philip was born August 4, 1952, in Chicago, IL, and graduated from Warren Township High School in 1971. He received an Associates Degree in Accounting from the College of Lake County. Phil had worked for Bruce & Bruce Company in Lake Bluff for over 25 years. He was a member of Gages Lake Bible Church. Survivors include his sister Linda (Richard) Barrick of Beach Park, IL; brother, Paul (Marsha) Christensen of WI; uncles, Bob (Ida) Gaudio of Glenview, IL, and Bob (Joyce) Christensen of IL; aunts, Bernie Christensen and Carol Breese, both of KS; sister-in-law, Linda (John) McGhee; 4 nieces; 2 nephews; 3 great-nieces and 2 great-nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Betty Christensen; brother, Thomas Christensen; and sister, Judith. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Gages Lake Bible Church, 18788 W. Gages Lake Rd., Gages Lake, IL. Friends may greet the family on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church. Interment is private at Highland Memorial Park, Libertyville, IL. Memorial donations are suggested to the COPD Foundation.
