Obituary of Jacqueline Musick

Jacqueline F. "Jackie" Musick, 61, of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois. A daughter given by the Lord to W. Dalton Clark and Faye M. Clark (nee Dowd), she was born December 31, 1946 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and left this earth after a heroic battle with Multiple Myeloma on January 24, 2008 at Cancer Treatment Centers of America at Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion, Illinois. Today we celebrate and pay tribute to a woman who provided so much love, spirit, and inspiration to all whose lives were touched by her caring heart. Jackie lead a joyful life filled with fond memories of her family. Born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, she was raised in Fisk, Missouri, lived for many years in Piedmont, Missouri and moved to Lake County Illinois in 1980. She graduated from Fisk-Rombauer High School in Fisk, Missouri in 1964. She was also a graduate of Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in 1990 and she attended DePaul University in Chicago. Jackie had a successful career in sales and marketing with Baxter Health Care of Deerfield, Illinois and Century 21 Real Estate of Antioch, Illinois. She was an active member of First Christian Church of Kenosha, Wisconsin. She was also a supporter of Assistance in Healthcare Foundation and was a member of Gateway for Cancer Research. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, golfing and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Robert; daughters Kelli (Monte) Persinger of Lee's Summit, Missouri and Debbie (Jim) Mercier of St. Louis, Missouri; grandchildren Clark, Corinne "Cori" and Cailyn Persinger and Sarah and Brian Mercier; one brother Gene Causey of Huntsville, Alabama; and several nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 28, 2008, at 4:00 p.m. at First Christian Church, Route C, Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, with Pastor Brian Henry officiating. Visitations will be Sunday, January 27th, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, and again on Monday from 3:00 p.m. until time of services at First Christian Church. Memorial donations to Assistance in Healthcare Foundation of Cancer Treatment Centers of America at Midwestern Regional Medical Center, 2520 Emmaus Avenue, Zion, IL 60099 have been suggested.
