Obituary of Costah Stidham

Costah Marie Stidham, 83, of Zion, died on Friday, February 1, 2008, at Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion. Costah was born August 22, 1924, in Marion County, Alabama, and married James Stidham in 1945 in Alabama. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Survivors, include a daughter, Helen (Tom) Plasky of Zion, IL; son, Alan Lane (Suzanne) Stidham of Winthrop Harbor, IL; grandchildren, James (Heather) Creekmore Sr., Candance (Justin) Schonter, Katrina (Tony) Sosa, Elizabeth (Travis) King, and Amanda and James Stidham; nine great-grandchildren; sisters. Ann Nanny of Tupelo, MS, and Marlene Nichols of MS; brothers, Gene Webb of TN, and Bill Webb of IN; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Stidham in 1975; son William Stidham in 1999; brother, Durell; and sisters, Lois and Hazel. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3401 29th St., Zion.
