Obituary of Kerttu Haaga

Kerttu K. Haaga, 82, died March 2, 2008. Kerttu was born July 20, 1925 in Finland. She moved to the United States in 1956 and resided in DeKalb until moving to Rolling Hills Manor 8 years ago. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in DeKalb. Kerttu is survived by one son Eric Haaga and his family of Vernon Connecticut; one grandson Jason Haaga and his family of Downington, Pennsylvania; one granddaughter Hannah Dungyen of Island Lake, Illinois; two sisters and many nieces and nephews in Finland. She was preceded in death by her husband Erkki Haaga, and her daughter Irma Wojtas. Visitation will be held Wednesday March 5, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Rd. Zion. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. with burial following at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park.
