Obituary of Judy Philips

Judy M. Phillips, 63, of Beach Park, IL, died on Monday, March 24, 2008 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. Judy was born December 26, 1944, in Stanley, WI, and was a graduate of Waukegan High School. She formerly attended Christian Assembly Church in Zion. Judy was a loving Christian woman, who adored her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include seven children, Debbie (Edward) Turley of Union Grove, WI, Vernon R. Phillips III of WI, Judy Smith of Racine, WI, Verna Cole of Waukegan, IL, Allen (Heather) Geronimi of Phoenix, AZ, Lanie (Michael) Hubka of Round Lake Beach, IL, and Joan (Erik) Spangler of New Lenox, IL; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; mother, Verna Rosenquist of Owen, WI; sisters, Jeannette (Dean) Kile of John Day, Oregon, Joyce (Dave) Wonderland of Zion, IL and Joan Rosenquist of Neillsville, WI; sister-in-law, Judy (Gary) Hopkins of Racine, WI; former son-in-law, Steven Cole, Sr. of Waukegan, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by husbands, Joseph Hammond and Vernon R. Phillips, Jr.; and father, Harvey Rosenquist. A Funeral Service will he held on Friday, March 28, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Visitation will be Friday, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials to the family would be appreciated.
