Kathryn I. Dvorscak, 91, of Beach Park, IL died January 9, 2014 at Manorcare Health Services in Kenosha, WI.
Kay was born May 27, 1922 in Round Lake, IL. She graduated from Grant High School, retired from Baxter Corp., and attended Our Lady of Humility Church. Kay loved cooking, playing cards and games, and conversing on Facebook with friends and family on her own iPad. She cherished her friends, her card club and Monday pot luck at her Beach Point Apartment. Kay accepted people without judgment and she loved and appreciated everything the past 91.5 years gave her. Family was her biggest asset and she made each one feel as though they were her favorite. Her strong faith carried her through many difficult times and was an inspiration to her family.
Survivors include her children, Margaret Bragado, Ray (Judy) Litwiler, Bill (Debbie) Litwiler, Barb (Jan) Daiker, Fran (Linda) Dvorscak, Tess Pflug, Sue Wittum, Joe Dvorscak, Ed (Liz) Dvorscak, Mary (Howard) Hatherly, Ruth (Todd) Schiller; 25 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brother, Kenny (Jessie) Molidor; nieces, Judy Richardson, Kim Vayr; nephew, George Schlung; and many cousins, great nieces and nephews.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, William and Bessie Molidor; husbands, Owen Litwiler and Frank Dvorscak; brothers, Raymond and Robert Litwiler; sister, Peggy House; a son, John Dvorscak; grandson, Kyle Dvorscak; great grand-daughter, Hailey Vanderlip; and son-in-law, David Pflug.
Visitation will be Friday, January 24, 2014, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Humility Church, 10655 Wadsworth Road, Beach Park, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heartland Hospice, 9114 58th Place, Kenosha, WI 53144 would be appreciated.
