Obituary of Katherine Robinson

Katherine Robinson, 65, of Round Lake Beach died June 1, 2014 in Zion, Illinois. Born in Chicago in 1948, Kathy grew up in the northern suburbs and graduated from Round Lake High School. "Trusted friend, always upbeat, great sense of humor, life of the party, lights up the room"all are ways that Kathy will be remembered. She was full of life and gave fully, always, to everyone around her. Kathy was a retired toll collector from the Illinois Tollway Authority and a regular attendee of The Chapel in Libertyville. She loved to travelanywhere with sand and water! Kathy is survived by her daughter, Robin Hendricks of Englewood, Florida; her three grandsons, Josh, Addison, and Ethan Hendricks; her brothers Jeffrey Henning and Erich Henning; her sister Judith (Henning) Nestler; her best friend Ann Caldwell; and all her friends at Wayne's Village Spirit Pub. She is preceded in death by her mother, LaVergne (Kleine) Henning and her father, Robert Henning. In accordance with her wishes, a celebration of life will be held for Kathy at the Village Spirit Pub, 1123 N Cedar Lake Rd, Round Lake Beach, IL on Saturday, June 7 at 2:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to share good memories, food, and fellowship.
