Obituary of Celedonia Sajuan

Celedonia Sajuan, 79, of Beach Park, IL died June 7, 2014 at home with her loving family by her side. Celedonia was born June 8, 1934 in Michoacan, Mexico. She was a lifetime member of Most Blessed Trinity Parish in Waukegan, IL. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her beloved husband, Santos Sajuan; children, Salvador Sajuan, Imelda Cervantes, Geraldina Ochoa, Benjamin Sajuan, Javier Sajuan, Trini Sajuan-Hansen, Carmen Patlan, Elena Sajuan, Maria Luz Salazar, and Esmeralda Hernandez; 28 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Carlotta Coria, Maria Villalobos, Odon Perez, and Benjamin Perez. Celedonia was preceded in death by her parents, Gumercinda and Sabas Perez; brothers, Juan Perez, Antonio Perez, Jesus Perez, Rosendo Perez; great-grandchildren, Cassandra Gonzalez, and Olivia Sajuan. She spiritually touched the lives of so many. Her strong Catholic faith and devotion to our Lord Jesus Christ and Blessed Virgin Mary fortified, strengthened, and allowed her to touch the lives of all those she came in contact with. Mass of Christian burial will be held June 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Most Blessed Trinity Catholic Parish at the Holy Family Site, 450 Keller Ave., Waukegan, IL. Visitation will be held June 10, 2014 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. Interment will be held at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, IL.
