Obituary of Lillie B. Buckley

Lillie B. Buckley, 78, gained her angel wings on October 11th, 2016. Lillie was born on July 11, 1938 in Lincoln, GA. to the late Willie and Inez Dye. She had 1 (late) brother, Fred (Dorothy) Dye and was married to the late C.T. Buckley Jr. in which they had 5 children together. She is survived by her 5 children, Bobby (Betty) Buckley, Denise (Glenn) Dixon, Darnell Buckley, Anthony (Heather) Buckley and C.T. Buckley 3. She leaves behind a host of grand-children, great grand-children, nieces and a nephew. She also leaves behind a very special and good friends, Gilbert McSwain and Liz Taylor. In Lillie's childhood years she attended Greater Metropolitan M.B. Church where she sang in the choir. She also worked for Nestles for 37 years before retiring. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, Ill. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family has been suggested. Home Going Celebration following services at Anthony & Heather Buckley Residence.
