Obituary of Susan J. Quinn

Susan J. Quinn, 68, of Winthrop Harbor, IL died May 11, 2017 at Vista East Medical Center in Waukegan, IL.

She was born March 28, 1949 in Waukegan, IL. Susan married James Quinn on February 15, 1969 and became co-owner of Chassis Service in Waukegan. She is extremely talented at knitting and needle work, loved gardening and camping, was a skilled scuba diver and markswoman, and enjoyed riding motorcycles and working on race cars with her sons and husband. Voted best mom, 48 years in a row! 

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, James F. Quinn III; children, Paul James Quinn, James Francis Quinn IV, Daniel James Quinn, and Jonathan James Quinn; four granddaughters, Chloe Elizabeth, Olivia Ann, Sydney Jean, and Faith Lillian Quinn; and one grandson, Zachary Quinn.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Warling; and brother, Jerry Warling.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL.
