Obituary of Gail Barbara Dufresne

Gail Barbara Dufresne (nee Philipp), 59, a resident of Beach Park, IL since 1982, died October 12, 2017 at home.

Gail was born December 27, 1957 in Waukegan, IL.  She attended Waukegan West High School.  Gail married Mark Dufresne on October 28, 1978 at First United Methodist Church in Waukegan, where she and Mark remained members of the church.  Gail worked for Cherry Electric in Waukegan, and then Beach Park School District as a teacher’s aid.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed being a member of the Sister’s Club.  Gail’s life revolved around her family. Her family was her heart and soul.

She is survived by her husband, Mark; sons, Mark (Leslie) Dufresne Jr., and Kyle Dufresne; grandchildren, Benjamin, Liliana, and Melah; brothers, sisters, other family, coworkers and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Betty Philipp; and a brother, Grant Philipp.

A memorial visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL 60099.  The memorial service will take place on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., at First United Methodist Church, 128 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, Waukegan, IL 60085.
