Obituary of Patrick Mikels

Patrick Allen Mikels, 49, of Beach Park, Illinois, passed away October 13, 2023 in Waukegan, Illinois. He was born July 30, 1974 in Waukegan, Illinois to parents Charles and Willie Mikels.

Patrick previously lived in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin and studied at the College of Lake County. Patrick worked for Rose Pest Solutions in Racine, Wisconsin, a former member of Zion ESDA, and a former paramedic.

Patrick is survived by his children Kylie and Landon; parents, Charles and Willie Mikels; siblings, Charlie (Debbie) Mikels, Clifford (Brooke) Mikels, Everett (Nancy) Mikels, and Carla (Mark) LaBarge; nieces, Taylor (Benjamin) Mikels-Thomas, Jamie Brown, and Kassidi (Errol) Tillett ; nephews, Hunter Donnelly, Jason (Brittany) Mikels, Justin Mikels, Kyle Mikels, and Louis (Medora) Hamilton; and great-niece, Peyton.

Patrick was preceded in death by his brother Edward Mikels.

Visitation will be held Saturday October 21, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home 3012 Sheridan Road Zion, Illinois. Followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home.
