Obituary of Gregory Clayton Adams

Gregory "Greg" Clayton Adams, 68, passed away on January 24,2024 in Chicago, Illinois. He was born on May 15, 1955 in Jackson, Mississippi, the son of Eddie and Linnie (Nichols) Adams.

 

Greg worked at the Naval Base and was an avid sports lover. 

 

He is survived by his four children, Keiafia (John) Murphy, Gregory Clayton Adams. Jr, Joshua De'Bray Adams, and Kariem Matthew Adams; a host of grandchildren; siblings, Jeffery Adams, Victory Adams, Paul Adams, Philip Adams, and Candy Adams; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings John Adams, Eddie Adams Jr., and Timothy Adams.

 

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd. Zion, Illinois 60099.
