Obituary of Pauline Roberts

Pauline Roberts, 77, of Wadsworth, IL died on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at St. Catherine's Hospital in Pleasant Prairie, WI. She was born September 23, 1935 in Itawamba County, MS and had lived in Zion most of her life. She was a active member of Lakeside Community Church of Zion where she taught Sunday School for many years. Upon moving to Zion she first worked at Warwick Electronics and later worked at A. L. Hansen Mfg. in Gurnee and B.A.T. in Zion before retiring from Julies Bible Book Store in Zion. Survivors include her daughter Paula (Gregory) Friedrich of Wadsworth, IL; two grandchildren Alison and Aaron Friedrich; siblings Varlee Harrison of Antioch, IL, Cathy (Ron) Evanski of Spokane, WA, and Fred Rogers of Waukegan, IL; sister-in-law Jewel Rogers of Zion, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Hollis in 1996; her son Ronald in 1999; three siblings Jimmy, Brice, and Eva Jean Rogers; and brother-in-law Robert Harrison. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 8, 2013, from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home, Pastor Clarence Berry and Rev. John Davis officiating. Private entombment will be later at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion.
