Obituary of Byrdine Storey

Storey, Byrdine Barbara (nee Klawonn), 84, a lifelong resident of Zion, Il, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. She was born December 27, 1928, in Zion, the daughter of Leonard and Beulah Klawonn. Byrdine is survived by her loving husband, Richard Storey; four daughters, Kathie (Larry) Davis of Grand Rapids, MI, Diane (Larry) Cranston of Ortonville, MI, Anita (Vernon) Freeman of Ocala, FL, and Sharon (David) Schantz of Sault Ste. Marie, ON; sister, Loretta (LeRoy) Richards; brother, Carl (Dottie) Klawonn; sister-in-law, Judy Hutchins; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; step-daughter, Pam (Bob) Whitlock of Adel, GA; step-son, Rick (Nancy) Storey of Grayslake, IL; 5 step-grandchildren; 9 step-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins; and a myriad of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved first husband of 37 years, Howard Marze; 2 sisters, Elizabeth Maynard and Florence Spohr; brother, Robert Klawonn; and her parents. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at 1:00 p.m., at Christ Community Church, 2500 Dowie Memorial Dr, Zion, IL, with Pastor Jon Wiziarde, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
