Obituary of Andrew Minghi

Andrew Charles Minghi, 50, of Winthrop Harbor, IL passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Evanston Hospital, Evanston, IL. He was born January 26, 1963 in Round Lake, IL and has lived in Winthrop Harbor for the past 22 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Humility Church of Beach Park. He was employed at Abbott Laboratories for the past 21 years as a Mechanical Engineer. Andrew was an avid bowler, volley ball player, card player, and he enjoyed home brewing. He loved the simple pleasures of the outdoors. Survivors include his wife of 22 years Loretta "Lorrie" Minghi; one brother John (Pam) Minghi of Maine; and one sister-in-law Arlinda Minghi of Arizona. He was also a loving uncle and God Father to several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers Jeffrey Minghi and Raymond Minghi; and his parents Albert and Charlotte Minghi. A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Humility Church, 10655 W Wadsworth Road, Beach Park, IL.
