Obituary of Vanda Burt

Vanda Burt (nee Mole), went to eternal life on October 6, 2013 at Rolling Hills Manor in Zion. Vanda was born January 4, 1929 in Zion. She married Ira "Bob" Burt on 1948 in Zion. Vanda worked as a receptionist for Dr. Townsend and Dr. Wones. Survivors include her children Kaydene Stapher, Michael R. (Carol) Burt, Bob (Kathie) Burt, and Steven (Laura) Burt; grandchildren Robert (Tina) Stapher, Sarah (Dustin) Clark, Amanda (Jason) Henry, Joseph (Amy) Burt, Michael (Karie) Burt, James Burt, Carrie Burt, Paul (Sandy) Holcombe, David Holcombe, Michael (Jennifer) Holcombe, Andrea Holcombe, Kristopher (Erika) Burt, Katie (Jimmy) Andrews, Clinton (fiancé Krystal) Burt, Monique, Mikey, Blake, and Brandon; 22 great-grandchildren; special cousins Betty DeWitt, Helen Ziwicke; and good friend Shirley Walters. She was preceded in death by her husband Ira; and her father and mother Phillip and Clara Mole. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2013 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ken Langley, officiating.
