Howard W. Enlow, 77, of Wadsworth, IL, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at Evanston Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Howard was born February 21, 1932, in Zion. He was a resident of Wadsworth for the past 38 years. Howard retired from employment at Ft. Sheridan in 1979. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Janet; sons, Bryan and David Enlow, both of Wadsworth, IL; sister, Joan Ray of Pensacola, FL; sisters-in-law, Esther Fee of Mt. Airy, MD, and Sue (Don) Shrader of Mt. Airy, N.C., and Sharon Speak of VA; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Minnie Enlow; sisters, Ruby Roberts and Rachel Kuxhausen; brothers-in-law, Chet Ray, Farrell Speak, and Dan Fee; and sister-in-law, Carolyn Speak.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL, with Pastor Doug Carlson of Grace Missionary Church of Zion, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Visitation will be on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
